Water Lily Dance is a special novel for me and it’s different from the Essie’s Roses series. When it launched in late 2019, it was an Amazon top 10 bestseller, received outstanding editorial and reader reviews, but just as it gained momentum on the market, the pandemic hit and it got lost in the shuffle.
My heart just wasn’t in promoting it much during this difficult time. But I believe in Water Lily Dance’s heartfelt message now more than ever and hope you will add it to your Spring reading list. Stay strong and positive. There is so much heartache and turmoil in the world right now. For months, I’ve had a heavy heart and struggled with posting on Facebook and promotion during this time. But we need goodness. We need uplifting stories of hope and freedom to overcome the dark, evil ones. Many of us are praying and doing what we can to make a difference, but sometimes the news is overwhelming. I’m honored many readers have written to encourage me that they have enjoyed escaping into my stories about freedom, love, and overcoming.
I will always do my best to offer you not only a story to, I hope, grow lost in, but one that uplifts your heart and spirit. And I will never stop thanking you for this opportunity to share stories. It isn’t always easy. My books are often a labor of love, but as long as you keep reading and they are touching your heart—I will keep the stories coming. And thank you for giving Water Lily Dance its second chance to blossom.
